Physical systems
Materials, sensing, manufacturing, reliability and adversarial testing.
4SI brings together research, physical systems, security engineering and institutional deployment. We build carefully, disclose deliberately and hire when a role is essential to the mission.
There are no publicly advertised positions at this time. That is intentional. We are building a concentrated team around unusually difficult work, and we open formal roles only when scope, authority and resources are clear.
The work crosses boundaries. Strong candidates are comfortable connecting first-principles reasoning with operational constraints.
Materials, sensing, manufacturing, reliability and adversarial testing.
Threat models, protocols, systems integration and assurance architecture.
Authority, execution controls, institutional design and frontier-risk analysis.
Government, defense, critical infrastructure and regulated enterprise environments.
We value evidence, judgment and useful systems over visible activity.
Technical depth is shared according to role, need and responsibility.
We move quickly where reversibility is high and carefully where consequences compound.
Deployment must account for law, policy, operations and the people who carry responsibility.
Send a concise note describing what you have built, what problem you want to own and why 4SI is the right context. We also welcome introductions from independent researchers and domain specialists for bounded collaborations.
