U.S. PRIVACY NOTICE

Information for U.S. visitors.

Effective 20 July 2026Last updated 20 July 2026Version 1.0
CategoriesPurposesDisclosureRights

Categories and sources

The public site may process identifiers and contact information submitted by a visitor; internet or electronic activity needed for delivery and security; professional information submitted in an inquiry; correspondence content; local privacy-choice data stored on the visitor’s device; and limited public-source research information described in the research notice. Sources are the visitor, browser and hosting environment, official public sources and cited publishers.

The site is not designed to collect government identifiers, precise location, financial credentials, health data, biometric identifiers or contents of private communications except if a visitor unnecessarily includes such information in a message. Visitors should not submit sensitive information through the general form.

Business purposes

  • deliver, secure and troubleshoot the public website;
  • respond to inquiries and evaluate requested engagements;
  • maintain the public research record, source integrity and corrections;
  • detect abuse of the contact endpoint;
  • meet legal obligations and protect rights.

Recipients, sale and advertising

Vercel provides hosting and request processing; Resend delivers contact emails. 4SI does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, build advertising profiles, use a data broker or deploy advertising trackers on the public site. Accordingly, the current site does not present a simulated “Do Not Sell or Share” workflow. If those practices change, the notice and technical controls will change before the new processing begins.

Where applicable law treats a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request, 4SI will honor it for any covered future sale or sharing. The current site has no such sale or sharing to stop.

Retention

Contact correspondence is normally kept for up to 24 months, subject to an active relationship, legal duty or claim. Operational and security logs follow the configured provider plan and are reviewed for necessity. Runtime contact rate-limit records are short-lived. Public research records remain while needed for the sourced record, correction history and methodological accountability.

State privacy rights

Residents of states providing applicable rights may request access or knowledge, deletion, correction, a copy, or appeal a denied request, and may exercise applicable opt-out or limitation rights. 4SI does not discriminate for exercising a privacy right. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority; 4SI may verify the individual directly. Send requests to contact@by4si.com. Rights depend on the applicable law, its scope and exceptions; this notice does not claim every state law applies to 4SI.
